Danika hasn’t had an easy life. Being insanely attracted to bad boys has never helped make it easier.
One look at Tristan, and every brain cell she possessed went up in smoke. This man was trouble with a capital T. It was a given.
She knew better. Bad boys were bad. Especially for her. Considering her history, it was crazy to think otherwise. So why did crazy have to feel so damn fine?
For as long as she could remember, Danika had been focused on the future with single-minded purpose. Tristan came along and taught her everything there was to know about letting go, and living in the present. She fell, hard and deep. Of course, that only made her impact with the ground that much more devastating.
If you follow me on facebook you will know that I am a huge fan of R.K Lilly and all of her books (yes all and I insist you read them asap) so when I found out about her new book Bad things I knew that I had to read it as soon as possible. The blurb had be captivated and the cover is just amazing and let me tell you I am not in the slightest bit disappointed.
"Bad things were going to happen if we spent too much time around each other."
Like with all book from R.K. you are going to fall in love with the alpha male yummyness that is Tristan Vega in fact I have a new book boyfriend that I cannot wait to spend lots and lots of time with.
This book will literally make your insides feel gooey in that oh so good way.
You will need to fan yourself frequently.
and finally you will not be able to put it down.
.... Unless of course it is to fan yourself with your kindle.
When Tristan and Danika week they work out a friends only rule but with a guy like Tristan that is not going to last long in fact I am very surprised she just didn't jump him the moment she laid eyes on the tattoo'd dimple sex god that is him. But as you can expect that did not last . . .
"I tried to pretend that I hadn't even heard that sexy as hell laugh. I knew that we were going to be a dangerous combination. Bad things were going to happen if we spent too much time around each other"
What I love most in a book is being able to see a connection and oh my do they have a connection, it practically sizzled off the page and caused a small fire.
“I’m going to fuck you hard on the hood of this car, in the pouring rain. And. You. Are. Not. Going. To. Forget. It.”
I dare anyone to read this book and not fall in love with these characters and the banter that flows so naturally between them. As well as an amazing character connection there is also an amazing underlying storyline that just deserves your up most attention.
“Tell me not to kiss you.”
“Don’t kiss me.”
“Don’t kiss me.”
There where times in the book I physically wanted to swoon along with the characters and others where I wanted to throw my kindle in frustration across the room, this is a book you cannot miss! In fact I insist you get a copy right now and dive into this amazing world.
"For the first time in my life, I trusted someone enough to take that control from me, I gave him that control willingly, and that trust healed something raw and aching deep inside me."
