He put my leg back down on the bed and sat up on his knees, unbuttoned my jeans and pulled them off. He lay back down on top of me and kissed me much softer this time. When he stopped long enough to look into my eyes, I felt it was a good time to say something.
“I’m sorry Parker,” I said, my voice shaky.
“Don’t. I wouldn’t change this moment for anything. From now on, I’m going to spend every moment showing you how amazing you are. Not just at this point, but how incredible you must’ve always been to be as strong as you are after it all. Let me love you the way you deserve.” I shook my head yes, holding back tears. He bent down and put his lips next to my ear. “I’m going to show you how you should be treated,” he whispered, “and I’m gonna start right now.”
