Book Description:

There’s optimistic. And there’s Jesse Walker.

If he wasn’t so charming, his sunny disposition and incessant grin would get old. Fast.

Falling in love with the girl who had at first seemed immune to it, was the best thing to happen to Jesse since the Walkers adopted him into their family when he was five. But loving the girl who has her fair share of secrets is about as easy as that same girl loving the boy who seems to have none.

As Jesse’s life continues at the ranch, and Rowen begins making her mark in the Seattle art community, they begin to wonder where the middle ground is. Or if there even is one.

As push comes to shove and choices aren’t only needing to be made, but forced to be made, Jesse and Rowen have to face what their lives might look like without the other.

Can two people with such tragic pasts and different presents, go on to expect a promising future? Whatever the answer, they’ll need a lot more than love to make it.

 Review -

Before I start this review I will say I am a HUGE Nicole Williams fan and when I read the first book in this series I was blown away and I could not wait to get more of this amazing couple and they where refreshing, passionate and swoon worthy.

You need to read book one first - NEAR AND FAR

But it is worth it.

"Did Jesse and I make sense on paper? Probably not. Were Jesse and I about as different as two people could get? Probably. Was I worried? Hell to the no. What bound us together couldn't be seen or put into words. It was invisible. No word had been created for it. Fate, destiny, true love, soul mates were glorified, commercial terms that fell flat. I ascribed few words to what we shared, but one word I could, one word I felt the moment his fingers laced through mine, and that was... eternal."

If like me you are a huge fan of county men who like to fault their abs then this is a series for you, but it also has so much more - Heart, passion and writing that will blow your socks off, in fact I suggest reading this book with bare feet.

“For you, I’m a weak, weak man. I’m so weak for you that you could break me with one word. You could end me with one look. You could ruin me with one touch.”

Unlike other series we where not left on a cliffhanger in the first book which made you curious as to what was in store for this book but never fear Nicole manages to give us one hell of a storyline. Jessie and Rowan are two of my favourite book characters and I love how you can actually see the dedication between them.

I love how in this book we get to see how the relationship develops and the obstacles they will face together, this isn't a book where as soon as they get together everything will be sunshine and roses and I love that its realistic and as you read you will not be able to get enough.

“I always knew I would be the one responsible for tearing us apart because that’s what I did and that’s what I was good at. No matter how hard I tried to be something else, something better, I couldn’t keep the destructive part of me fully contained.”

This books opens you up to brand new characters and you will find out more about the characters you fell in love with in the first book.

About the Author

I’m the New York Times and USATODAY bestselling author of the LOST & FOUND series, the CRASH series, and a handful of others. Basically, I get to do what I love. Every single day. I write romance because I’m a sucker for a good love story, and I write happy endings because there are too few of them in real life.
