Blurb:
How do you keep existing when your heart is so splintered, so completely torn to shreds, your pulse is fading?
You’re…broken.  How do ou move forward when every breath is nothing more than a constant ache?  Living becomes and insidious reminder that you threw away the single largest part of yourself. Your…soul.  No amount of distraction can pull you from the torture of losing your…life.
Now that Emily Cooper has walked away from her first love, she finds herself running toward her only love.  Unraveling fast, bust clinging to hope, Emily risks all she has left on the man that has consumed her every thought and dream since the day they met.  Will Gavin take her back?  And if so, will their reunion be a collision of two hearts destined to complete one another and rekindle a love that knew no boundaries?  Or will scars from their past rip open, tearing slowly at what each of them was meant to be?  Can fate, the ultimate game changer, mend the shattered road it laid out from the start?
Only time will tell…
Tick-Tock…

Review number 1 - Fern

When I first started blogging I began speaking to a lovely author called Gail who asked me to review her first book, I wasn't sure what to expect but I began reading with excitement and was left needing, wanting and demanding more. I knew then that Gail was something special and this series was going to create a phenomenon and blow everyone away.

“I can’t promise you it’ll always be sweet and tender because you and I fight hard. But I’m pretty sure it won’t be a horror ride either because you and I love even harder. What I can promise is you’ll always mean more to me than my next breath, and it’ll always be you in my life. No one else.”

The way we where left at the end of Collide made me want to scream with emotion, how could Emily walk away from Gavin and break now only his heart but mine? Yes I could understand why she made her choice but I did not understand it or like it one but - it was the cliffhanger to all other cliffhangers and I needed to find out what happened next. The moment the book arrived on my kindle I abandoned the world, I had supplies such as tissues and chocolate and I was not prepared to leave until I had consumed the story and found out what would happen next.

“I want to break the rules with you. Kiss you passionately every day. Make you smile when you’re about to cry. I want no regrets with us. I want us to laugh together until we can’t breathe and it hurts. No man will ever love you the way I’m going to love you, Emily. You’re it. My last. My forever.”

Emily knows she has made a HUGE mistake (Its about time right??) and is on the hunt for her man, her love and her soul mate - but what happens when he is no where to be found? Will she give up and learn to move on with her life or will her passion drive her to find him and bring him home?

“Her Yankees-loving, bottle cap-giving, dimpled smile other half was gone, and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do to turn back time.”

Eventually finding Gavin it isn't all sex under the stars and confessions of love, she needs to prove to him that she will never leave him again and she is the woman for him. Can they survive the twists and turns that will come there way or will it be all to much for them in the end?

Gavin, Gavin, Gavin - Holy swoon on a lickable stick. Oh how I have fallen for him, I cannot count the amount of times I have been grinning like an idiot because of the things he has done and I think he is the perfect mix of Alpha Male and romantic gentleman. I would not kick him out of my bed in fact I think I would tie him down and never let him leave, just thinking about him is enough to make panties melt an my pulse quicken.

“I’m going to fuck you right now, Emily. I’m going to bring you so much pleasure you’ll never think about walking away from me again. ”

This book, This series and This author have blown me away and for that I will forever be grateful for. I cannot wait to consume everything Gail has to give us, her writing is my drug and I already need my next fix.

“We were written for one another, and I wouldn't change one line in our romance novel. The good, the bad, the in between. It's ours. We own it.”

6/5 stars for this truly amazing book.

Review - Vanessa

“I know you’re the one who said you thought you loved me from the moment you saw me, but I know I loved you form the moment I saw you.  Something inside me told me I was supposed to be with you, but I fought against it.  So many things about you scared me at first, and then you showed me who you really are…But more than anything…thank you for loving me.”

Picking up right where Collide left off, Emily is starting over yet again.  I can honestly say, this was a welcome reprieve from the feelings I had in Collide.  I knew it could only get better for her from this point forward, regardless of how things played out.  What I didn’t see coming were the little twists throughout the story that made me laugh, cry, cringe, and at one point stop reading all together.  I wouldn’t trade any of those feelings; that is what makes a story so fan-fucking-tabulous!

Watching the new-found strength in Emily as she embarked on entirely new territory; she and Gavin both grew immensely in this book.  I loved the banter and inside jokes, I love how things come full-circle, and how when one is persistent enough; anything is possible.  And what else can I say but…Gavin Blake.  Holy Sex-on-a-Stick, completely-lickable, absolutely-swoon-worthy-to-the-umpth-degree.  I can’t even…I mean…what…this has got to be real for someone!  So, in other words, I loved him.

Having a man declare his love like that is just awesome…Emily is one lucky girl.  What I waited for was the little bombshell that I knew was bound to happen because no great love story/triangle is complete without it.  What I didn’t expect was how long I had to wait in order to find out the answer…talk about being drug out!   And in between, seriously had flashbacks of another book I read where I cried for days…if I hadn’t read a recent interview, I may have stopped reading, that’s how real it was.
Piqued your interest?  Read the book!  You definitely won’t regret it, and even if you are like me and find out things ahead of time…it didn’t ruin the good cry I had; it just kept me from losing my sanity (and killing my friend for making me drop everything and read this ahead of the other books I’m reading—love you Jess!)
“Baited. Hook. Line. And. Motherfucking. Sinker.”

About the author - Gail’s info:
I've always been a lover of writing, but mostly dabbled in creating poetry while raising my three beautiful children. I am grateful my husband of fifteen years has supported me—albeit sometimes kicking and screaming—as I pursue this "hobby" of mine. Without his help, writing would be an impossible endeavor.

In late June 2012, I felt an urgent tug of my pen, and I began writing one of my first novels, Collide. Although I thought it might never see the light of day, it gave me the courage to plunge headfirst onto a path I had never considered before.
