Bring me home - Book Tour + Interview

The breath-taking conclusion to the New York Times and USA Today bestselling series is expected to be released August 6, 2013.

Claire Nixon is a college student with a past full of secrets and heartbreak. She was saved once by her first love, and rock star, Chris Knight. But when she encouraged Chris to leave town to pursue his dreams, both Claire and Chris didn’t realize it would be the biggest mistake of their lives.

After a devastating year apart and thousands of miles of distance between them, Claire met sexy surfer Adam Parker. With his awful jokes and profound patience, he helped Claire pick up the shattered pieces of her broken heart for the second time.

But now Chris has returned and he is willing and determined to make Claire’s dreams come true—the same way she did for him when she let him go.

With Adam’s former girlfriend in the picture, Claire finds herself torn between the new, passionate love she shares with Adam and the love and family she shares with Chris

Review -

This book is very bitter sweet to me, Yes I am glad to finally see the happily ever after and have closure but on the other hand I have really enjoyed the characters journeys and am so sad to see it come to a close :( I am privileged to have taken then journey with Cassia through all her book tours and cannot wait for what she gives us next.

"Where we love is home. Home where our feet may leave, but not our hearts"

I am not going to ruin the book by saying who Claire ended up with because that would ruin the experience for anyone wanting to read this book or even series - personally I loved her decision even though at times I have been slightly swayed between Adam and Chris you realize she ends up with who is best for her and that is what matters.

“Sometimes you forget how much you love someone, until you realize their smile is like a spotlight shined on your heart.”

This book will make you realize it is not about who wins or looses it is about healing and coming to terms with the past so you can move on and be happy - This was a message I loved and I am glad to see a lot of other readers have picked up on it as well.

There is so much I want to say about this book but I am so worried about ruining it for people who have yet to start the series and read this book - and you need to read this series as it will just blow you away!!!

6/5 stars for one of my favourite series.

Firstly thank you for taking the time to do this interview with me for Whirlwindbooks, I am a huge fan of this series and cannot wait to read what you have in store for us next!

How do you feel now this series has come to an end? I have loved seeing these characters stories evolve and I know I will miss them.

I am definitely going to miss all these characters. But, as much as I’m going to miss them, I’m also very relieved to have the full story out. It was difficult releasing this story in three parts. It was like having a beautiful secret I wanted to tell everyone I spoke to, but I was forbidden.

Is there any chance of a spin off or something?

I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to write a book for Tristan and Senia, but I will definitely be writing a short story for Abby to be released around Christmas.

Do you have any weird writing rituals? You can tell us we don’t judge. .

Other than sitting in front of a computer for fourteen hours a day? Lol. Not really. I have a ton of beta readers and I use them A LOT! I write the book and submit it to my beta readers one chapter at a time. They give me feedback on that chapter, telling me how they felt, what is missing or needs to be improved on, and what they’d like to see in the subsequent chapters. So this book was written by me, but I receive a lot of guidance along the way from my amazing betas.

How long would you say it takes you to write a book?

It normally takes me four to eight weeks to write a book and one to two weeks to edit. This book took eight weeks to write and one week to edit.

What is your impression of the response to the series?

Astounded. I set out to tell the story as I had envisioned it and really tried to tune out all the readers who were begging me to write the book the way they wanted me to write it. I thought that I would get a huge backlash for going against popular opinion, but I could not be more pleased to see that people actually understand how there was no other way this series could have ended. Of course, getting messages from people who I thought were going to hate this book and hearing them tell me it’s their favourite series of all time is amazing. I’m very happy with the response to this series.

If you were to cast a movie for the book, who would you pick to play who?

Teresa Palmer as Claire Nixon, Jared Leto as Chris Knight, and Alex Pettyfer as Adam Parker

What do you have in store for us next?

Besides a possible spin-off with Tristan and Senia, I have a standalone novel entitled Black Box about a girl who is bipolar who meets an interesting musician right before they both board a plane that crashes.

Thank you again for taking the time to answer my Questions!

USA Today bestselling author Cassia Leo loves her coffee, chocolate, and margaritas with salt. When she's not writing, she spends way too much time watching old reruns of Friends and Sex and the City. When she's not watching reruns, she's usually enjoying the California sunshine or reading--sometimes both.
