Fixed On You
Stalking and restraining orders are a thing of Alayna Wither’s past. With her MBA newly in hand, she has her future figured out—move up at the nightclub she works at and stay away from any guy who might trigger her obsessive love disorder. A perfect plan.
But what Alayna didn’t figure on is Hudson Pierce, the new owner of the nightclub. He’s smart, rich, and gorgeous—the kind of guy Alayna knows to stay away from if she wants to keep her past tendencies in check. Except, Hudson’s fixed his sights on her. He wants her in his bed and makes no secret of it.
Avoiding him isn’t an option after he offers a business proposition she can’t turn down and she’s drawn further into his universe, unable to resist his gravitational pull. When she learns Hudson has a dark history of his own, she realizes too late that she’s fallen for the worst man she could possibly get involved with. Or maybe their less than ideal pasts give them an opportunity to heal each other and finally find the love their lives have been missing.
If a dominant alpha male and scenes so steamy your panties may well melt of sounds like a good read to you then this is a book you NEED to add to your kindle and get stuck into.
Hudson Pierce - even his name sounds attractive - is the kind of guy who will not fall in love with you, yes he may fuck you but if you are looking for a white picket fence and 3.5 children he is not your guy.
Alayna Wither has a troubled past and the last thing she needs is a man who can only be classified as Sex on a stick messing with her just when her life is getting itself back on track - but who was she to refuse Hudson.
“Because you’re looking for something temporary. Something fun to play with.” I leaned even closer to deliver my punch line—the one that would deter even the horniest of men. “And I get attached.” I stood back up to my full height so I could take in his reaction. “Now doesn’t that just scare you shitless?”
I love reading books where you can see a characters growth and them overcoming their past and this book is a prime example of that and I couldn't help but consume it!!!
"First, let me clear up one thing… I will be saying and doing things - romantic things, perhaps - that are not genuine. I need you to remember that. Out of the public eye, I will seduce you. That will be genuine, but it can never be misconstrued as love."
"Because you're incapable of love."
OH HOT DAMN.
“I never pay for sex, Alayna. When I fuck you, it will be for free.”
Is it too much to ask someone to fan me?
Yes this book does have similar points to other books but Laurelin has a way of making it her own and that is what kept me glued all the way through - would I recommend this book? YES! Plus I cannot wait to see what is next in this series I am 100% a fan and can not tell people to give it a shot enough.
