Blog Tour -- Bride in Bloom ~V~

For Victoria, it started with the perfect dress and the perfect man...well, she thought he was perfect.
For Cameron, it started with a devoted wife and a bright future...until he discovered devotion was never high on his wife's list of marital duties.
When trust is tested and faith in the power of true love is lost, there is only way one to restore it:
Give that person everything you’ve got, nurture it, love it…
And watch her bloom.

Meet Victoria & Cameron in this fabulous stand alone!

“You’ll know, Cameron. You’ll know because even with everything you’ve been through, you’ll take one look at her and be willing to take that chance. She’ll be a princess and she won’t even know it.” I grinned at her. “Dream big, Mom.”

Two people.

One piece of common ground that both destroys them and shapes them into stronger people and ultimately brings them together.

“I was the kind of man who needed to stay busy and I liked a challenge. If something was broken, I found a way to fix it. That only applied to things though, not people, and the last thing I wanted to do was try to fix Victoria. But weasel my way into her heart so she couldn’t resist my charms? That I was only too happy to do.”

Meet Victoria and Cameron.

He’s a general contractor for a reputable building company.

She’s a buyer for a specialty boutique shop specializing in unique gifts for an individual or the home.

He’s watched her from afar for two years, waiting for the right time to remind her how absolutely perfect she actually is…sadly, it’s after she learns her life, like his, had been a lie.

GAH!!!  This book.  I was swept away on a wave of melon and coral tulle. I fell in love from the very first page, Hartnett has a knack for writing the perfect romance and this was no exception!

I loved how I could reconnect with her other characters, the setting painted in such a light that I actually felt like I was there, in the sun and the surf, enjoying Laguna Beach. Reading this book truly makes me wish I lived in California…that laid back lifestyle she portrays while swirling you into the lives of her characters is like living in the fairy tale.

And fairy tale this was…complete with whimsical touches and happily ever after.

After we listened to his one sided argument, my girlfriends and I sat there stunned.
“Remind me to change my panties,” Dee stage whispered to Kath. When he was off the phone, the petite Dee with her dark brown hair and big blue eyes looked at Cam and said, “I will pay you every dollar in my bank account to talk that way to me.”
He jerked his head toward her. “Excuse me?”
“Your voice is like hot fudge dripping off the end of a spoon.” He did have a terrific voice.
“It’s the beard,” I said to my friends. “It makes me want to just climb up onto his face and take a ride on the man-mane. Did I just say that out loud?”
